Pews Pond is located within the Timberlake neighborhood in North East Raleigh, NC. Hannah and I visit often and always bring some bread for the turtles and geese. I always see this framing in my mind as we walk down from Ann's house. This trip I had my tripod with me. This shot was taken on the Summer Solstice, 21 June 2009.  It is a three exposure hdr image merged in Photomatix Pro.
